Final statement of intent

 I plan to make a front cover and double page spread for a motivational influencer who is releasing their new book about going through hard times and how to stay motivated through it. the aim is to inspire young adults and empower them by showcasing what the influencer has done his values and advice.

My target audience is primarily people of the social class of C2DE who like to read celebrity gossip magazines but mainly for the young adult male readers who are interested in growth mental wellbeing and social media.

The front cover will feature an image of the influencer styled to convey confidence and respect. I will use a bold cover lines like 'My mental health journey' and 'My daily routine secrets' to reflect the themes of the book and what the magazine is about. the masthead will be modern and clean appealing to the audience.

the double page spread will include a backstory of the influencer and how they rose to fame from the influencer discussing their motivation for writing the book, their personal struggles , and what makes him and his book different from other influencers. I will a standfirst section to pull my readers attention and a modern layout to fit the magazine it is going on. I will use vibrant colours like Pink and white as they fit the space for a celebrity gossip magazine.

I will use a combination of media codes to construct a positive and aspirational representation. Technical codes like soft lighting and strandout tones will be used while close-up camera shots will establish emotional connection and authenticity. The influencer will be styled in casual active wear and casual  clothing to reinforce their credibility. the narrative will follow a conventional structure of challenge, breakthrough, and success,

overall my magazine will use media language and representation to look into self belief and working hard aligning with the influencers brand and the inspirational message of their new book and what they stand for.
